Sanitary rules - Auctions
VISIT, INSPECTION AND DELIVERY OF VEHICLES
• Wearing a mask is compulsory at all times;
• Online registration and deposit required before vehicle visit and inspection. No accompanying person will be allowed;
• Confirmation of deposit required on entry, including date of deposit and bidder number;
• No flanage will be tolerated;
• The inspection will take place during the week of the sale; Thursday and Friday for Quebec, and Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for Montreal. A maximum number of people will be allowed on the premises, waiting to be expected;
• Mandatory hand disinfection at the site entrance;
• Mandatory hand disinfection between each vehicle inspection;
• Disinfectant wipes available to disinfect vehicles before and after each inspection;
• Distance of 2 meters between people;
• 4 people maximum at a time in the administrative area;
• A chemical toilet available outside (responsibility of the user to clean before and after use);

GENERAL INFORMATION
1. Anyone who wishes to register must read and agree to the terms and conditions of the auction.
2. Registration is done online only. Go to the "Auction sales" section of the disposal of goods website (www.dispositiondesbiens.gouv.qc.ca) for more details.
3. Upon registration, a deposit of $ 1000 (refundable, payable by credit card) is required. This deposit may be withheld as a penalty for non-compliance with the terms and conditions of the contract or upon cancellation of the contract.
4. The CAG provides in good faith the information available to it for each of the lots. The photographs and information provided are presented for illustrative purposes only and do not guarantee the condition of the goods.
5. The CAG cannot be held responsible for any omission or incomplete inspection of the lot by the bidder.
6. All lots or goods awarded by the auctioneer make the sale perfect, final and irrevocable.
7. The lots are sold as is, without guarantee and at the risk and peril of the buyer.
8. Each lot becomes the responsibility of the new owner as soon as the auctioneer announces that a lot has been awarded.
9. All sales are subject to the federal goods and services tax (GST) of 5%, as well as the Quebec sales tax (QST) of 9.975%.
10. Bidders who win an auction must pay an administrative charge of 10% before taxes on each lot.
11. Lots must be paid in full and picked up within three (3) days of the end of the auction. An additional storage fee of $ 50 per item per day of delay may be charged to latecomers as a penalty.

PAYMENT METHOD

TAKING POSSESSION

DEFAULT OF PAYMENT OR TAKING POSSESSION
The successful tenderer in default of payment or who has not taken possession of the lot within the prescribed deadlines is required to pay, in addition to the storage penalties, the difference between the price of his auction and the lower price that will be paid by the new purchaser, in accordance with article 1765 of the Civil Code of Quebec.

REGISTRATION
